The renowned American Theatre of Actors once again brings you Shakespeare's The Taming of The Shrew.
Kate, the witty waspish shrew, must be married off before her younger tamer sister. When Petruchio comes in search of a wife, will he live to woo this wildcat, Kate?
Award winning Director James Jennings stages this touching battle-of-the-sexes comedy, in which an unwilling bride has it out in tongue-lashings with her husband while he starves her out of her sulks! This slapstick, misogynistic, controversial tale will leave you laughing all the way home!
"Lively direction with passionate energy"
- Mario Fratti [Reviewer & Tony Award Winning Director]
Starring:
Jessica Jennings & Michael Matucci
Herbert bennett, William Greville, William J. Growney, John Paul Harkins, Thomas Leverton, Hamilton Meadows, Gregory O'Connor, Celeste Sexton, Alex Simmons, Brian White, Emily Yates.
Costumes by Christos Fandaros
"What a wonderful production! Jessica Jennings was great as always and belongs on Broadway! Michael Matucci was tremendous! William Greville was superb! One of ATA's best productions… All I can say is Bravo! Bravo!"
