"Everything in this production is exactly as it should be. Don’t walk, RUN to see this show. " - Click here to read the full review.SYNOPSIS - ABOUT THE SHOW
Lyrical drama about two ordinary families living in adjacent houses in sleepy Grover's Corners, N.H. in the early years of the 20th century. With deceptive tranquility, the play chronicles the tiny details of American life in its daily cycle: waking up, having breakfast with the family, going off to school and work. But underneath, the play questions what it's all about, and expresses, at times, a spiritual terror of what may lie behind it all -- particularly as one young woman faces marriage, childbirth and death.

| Review: Must See! by Blair I. |
| Before I saw this show, I was a little hesitant. I had been hearing a lot of hype from people, and I was worried I'd be disappointed. The only thing I knew about the play was Emily's last monologue from that episode of "The Wonder Years" way back when. I have to say, though, that I was so moved by this production. It's easy to see why this play is a classic, as the themes are universal. The staging is simple and perfect, and the performances are incredible. Go see this show! You will not regret it, and it might just change the way you look at life. |
