Dog
Sees God is a fun, yet deeply touching spin-off on Charlie Brown and
the rest of the Peanuts Gang written by Bert V. Royal. In the play, the
gang is in their teen years facing problems and choices that all teens
face. It deals with issues of drugs, sexuality, suicide, and bullying.
Funds will be donated to Rachel's Challenge.
Rachel's Challenge is an organization founded in memory of Rachel Scott, a young women who was the first to be killed in the tragic Columbine shooting of 1999. Before she passed she kept dairies in which she wrote, "I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion then it will start a chain reaction of the same." That is what Rachel's Challenge is all about. According to their web site their mission statement is this, "we exist to inspire, equip and empower every person to create a permanent positive culture change in their school, business and community by starting a chain reaction of kindness and compassion."
