"The current revival of Golf: The Musical faces an enormous challenge of attracting a generally financially-conscious crowd into the door of Midtown Theater amidst ever-tightening competition from other shows. " - Click here to read the full review.SYNOPSIS - ABOUT THE SHOW
Called a “delightfully silly surprise” and “a hilarious revue that you will be savoring long afterward” by The New York Times, GOLF: The Musical returns
to New York City after having played throughout the United States and
in 50 countries around the world, including a run in Saint Andrews,
Scotland, the home of the game of golf, during the 2005 British Open.
The show, dubbed a “amiable, madcap revue” by The New Yorker, prompted reviewer David Richardson of WOR Radio to rave “whether or not you play golf, you are going to love this show” and “probably the best entertainment around.”
With a hugely talented quartet of actors, GOLF: The Musical celebrates the fun, frustration and elation of this popular sport in a manner that makes it “funny and fun for the whole foursome" according to Golf Magazine.
