OFF-BROADWAY TRANSFER "SCOTTSBORO BOYS" OPENS ON BROADWAY

The Lyceum Theatre box office opens 10 AM Sept. 2 for ticket sales to the Broadway run of The Scottsboro Boys, the new Kander & Ebb musical about a famous miscarriage of justice that is transferring after its Off-Broadway run last year.
With the box-office opening comes a special offer from the producers: For one day only, tickets priced at $19.31 (for the year in which the Off-Broadway musical is set) will be available for mezzanine and balcony seats for the first preview on Oct. 7.
The Scottsboro Boys opens on Broadway Oct. 31 following an acclaimed Off-Broadway run in spring 2009, and the current run at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, The Scottsboro Boys will be produced on Broadway by Barry and Fran Weissler, Jacki Barlia Florin and The Vineyard Theatre.
The Lyceum Theatre is located at 149 West 45th Street. Performances are Tuesday through Sunday at 8 PM, with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 3 PM.
