THE ALIENS EXTENDS OFF-BROADWAY

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced that its critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway production of The Aliens, by Annie Baker, will play five (5) additional performances through Saturday, May 29th. Performances began on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 and the show officially opened on Thursday, April 22nd. Originally scheduled to run through May 23rd, the show will now play through Saturday, May 29, 2010.
In The Aliens, two angry young men sit outside a Vermont coffee shop and discuss music and Bukowski. When a lonely high school student arrives on the scene, they decide to teach him everything they know. A play with music and shrooms.
Directed by Sam Gold, the cast of Off-Broadway's The Aliens includes Michael Chernus (Essential Self-Defense, American Sligo), Dane DeHaan (End Days, Sixty Miles to Silver Lake) and Erin Gann (First Day, Percussionist).
The creative team includes Andrew Lieberman (sets), Bobby Tilley (costumes), Tyler Micoleau (lights), Bart Fasbender (sound), and Eugenia Furneaux-Arends (props). Nicole Bouclier is Production Stage Manager and Rebecca Spinac is Assistant Stage Manager.
