Off-Broadway’s THE IRISH CURSE, Martin Casella’s acclaimed comedy, announces hosts for the final two "Talkback Tuesdays," a weekly series offering post-show discussions and audience Q&A sessions with special invited guest speakers. THE IRISH CURSE is ending its Off-Broadway limited run on Sunday, May 30th at the Soho Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street (between Avenue of the Americas & Varick Street), where it opened on March 28th to rave reviews: “A funny and charming play. Under the direction of Matt Lenz, the cast of THE IRISH CURSE includes Dan Butler, Roderick Hill, Scott Jaeck, Brian Leahy, and Austin Peck. In THE IRISH CURSE, size matters to the Irish-American guys who meet every Wednesday night in a support group...for men with very small penises.  This raucously new comedy tackles the male obsession with body image, masculinity, and sex as it examines the fundamental question on the minds of men since the beginning of time..."How do I measure up to the next guy?"

Tuesday, May 18                Perry Brass

Author Perry Brass recently had his gay supernatural novel published titled Warlock, A Novel of Possession, in which the hero Allen Barrow has "a small penis that embarrasses him." Allen talks openly about the problems of being gay and having a small dick which bedevils his life and makes him feel powerless and completely undesirable, until he meets Destry Powars, an extremely powerful man who is actually attracted to him and his dick. Richard Labonte in his nationally syndicated BookMarks column said about Warlock: "To the annals of gay lit, add a most unusual hero - a shy, self-effacing, everyday bank clerk with a really small cock, so small it shames him. So when his wee member mesmerizes the well-muscled, well-moneyed man he meets at the baths, one Destry Powers, he can't believe his luck - or anticipate his fate." Tuesday, May 25                Dr. Joy Browne

Dr. Joy Browne is a nationally acclaimed, syndicated radio host and licensed clinical psychologist. Her radio program, the longest running of its kind, has been on the WOR Radio Network for nearly 15 years. Her show offers millions of devoted listeners advice on issues ranging from relationships and marriage, finance, work and career. Dr. Joy has had two of her own TV shows which include one on CBS called “Dr Joy Browne” and another on Discovery health which was a simulcast of her radio show. She has authored numerous self-help and inspirational books including Dating for Dummies, The Nine Fantasies That Will Ruin Your Life, Dating Disasters, Getting Unstuck and It's A Jungle Out There, Jane. Before finding her way to the airwaves, Dr. Joy was a teacher, private practice therapist, and social service director for the Boston Redevelopment Authority, in addition to her work on the Space Program and her time as an archeologist. She holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. from Northeastern University as well as a B.A. from Rice University, and also did postdoctoral work at Tufts Medical School. Joy is the mother of one daughter, and keeps herself inspired by dancing, doing yoga, and hot air ballooning.

THE IRISH CURSE is set to have its London premiere this September at Above The Stag Theatre. Monologues from THE IRISH CURSE will also be included in a new volume of The Best Men's Stage Monologues and Scenes (from Smith & Kraus).
