"THE 39 STEPS" RETURNS OFF-BROADWAY AT NEW WORLD STAGES

Following in the steps of Avenue Q, the fast-paced comic thriller The 39 Steps makes the leap from Broadway to Off-Broadway on April 15 with the production's opening night at New World Stages in the midtown theatre district.
As with Avenue Q, which transferred from Broadway to Off-Broadway last fall, the creative team and scenic elements are the same, but the cast is new.
According to the producers, The 39 Steps features a cast of four actors who, against all odds, breathlessly and hilariously attempt to reenact all of the characters, locations and famous scenes in Hitchcock's 1935 film thriller with just a few props and a lot of theatrical ingenuity and split second quick changes."
